We met in-person on Sep. 4 at A-to-Z Speech Therapy with 4 PWS and 1 SLP. After introductions, attendees were given the option to choose SILLY or SERIOUS for our group activity. Silly was chosen so we did some Improv fun and games.
Doing Improv is deemed silly, but it becomes serious quickly as you must go outside of your comfort zone and speak spontaneously.
There was clearly skepticism from one attendee. However, this person left the meeting learning the most about how they live too much of his daily life thinking way too much about what to say that he doesn’t live enough in the moment. The Improv games sparked really good conversation with the group.
