The Greenville, SC Chapter with the National Stuttering Association is a supportive group for people who stutter and for people who have a special interest in stuttering. Together, we help each other to accept and cope with our stuttering, to build our self-confidence and to improve our ability to communicate.

The Adult Chapter meets on the first Thursday of every month at A to Z Speech Therapy. During each meeting we talk about our lives and discuss issues related to living life as a person who stutters. It’s a welcoming place where everyone is accepted and supported. It’s also a place where we can stutter openly without fear and embarrassment and practice fluency techniques.

The Family Chapter welcomes children ages 6 to 18 along with parents, speech therapists and friends of children who stutter.

The National Stuttering Association (NSA) is the world’s largest supportive organization for people who stutter. The NSA provides information to the stuttering community through a variety of programs and services, instilling the sense of self-worth so often missing in the lives of those who stutter.
