We met on Zoom with 5 people attending. (4 people who stutter and an SLP student.) After introductions, we focused on our meeting topic of “Challenging Speaking Situations.” We did an activity on Zoom sharing how challenging we find various speaking situations.

For each situation, attendees used a scale from 1 to 5 to reflect how challenging they find that speaking situation. Showing 1 finger conveyed NOT CHALLENGING and showing 5 fingers meant VERY CHALLENGING.

Meaningful discussion followed each vote on the speaking situation. Below are some of the challenging speaking situations we discussed.
